After 2.5 years of work, hundreds of hours of work, and countless bugs, distractions and such, I'm happy to announce that the balloon capsule is finally ready for launch!
There's some dependency on the jetstream and the weather, but we're planning to launch from Coyote Hills State Park in the East Bay (near Fremont). Setup starts at 8am, launch around 9am, and the balloon should land somewhere around 12pm.... somewhere...
Anyone who's interested is welcome to watch, either remotely through this website, or in person.
