How the BSR site works

The BSR site has been designed to let users see articles, pictures of the construction of the balloon and capsule, and to let visitors see either live or historical photos, maps with tracks, stats etc. taken by the capsule during testing.

  • The menu buttons do the following:
    • HOME:  The home page, which lets users see recent status updates, etc.
    • BLOG:  This blog, articles on constructions, etc.
    • LIVE MAP:  A Google map with options that lets you track a current or previous "flight". It also lets you see a predicted flight path, launch points, balloon burst points, landing points, and where photos and videos were taken
    • PHOTO:  Categorized photos, videos of a flight, organized by altitude, phase of flight
    • STATS:  Mission control type stats on sensors, data transfer rates, etc., plus an option (TBD) to graph out stats
    • ADMIN:  For power users. Lets visitors select a previous "flight" for viewing
